2 weeks left for Nominations for the Malvern Hills District Council Community Sports Awards

Hurry! Only two weeks left to nominate for the Malvern Hills District Council Community Sports Awards 2016.

Malvern Hills District Council are hosting the sixth edition of the Malvern Hills District Community Sports Awards in Association with UK Flood Barriers. The Awards provide an excellent opportunity for coaches, clubs, volunteers and participants from across the Malvern Hills District to be recognised for their outstanding achievements and/or dedication. The evening will also provide a platform to celebrate the good practice that continues to develop and grow, year on year, throughout the sporting community. If you feel you know an individual or a team who have gone the extra mile to help others, excelled in their sport or has contributed thanklessly to their community, then nominate them so they have a chance to get the recognition they truly deserve.

This year there are 13 award categories. The top two shortlisted nominees for each award will be invited to join the evening’s celebrations to be held this year at Malvern College on Thursday 14th July, with the winner being announced on the night.

If you know anyone who deserves to be nominated, please read the nomination guidelines included in this email and fill out the form attached. Alternatively, visit our website via this link: http://www.malvernhills.gov.uk/sports-awards to cast your nomination using the Online Nomination Form. There are multiple categories to choose from including Young Male and Female Sports Personality, Coach of the Year, Inclusive Project of the Year and many more.
