13 members of Malvern Joggers travelled to Stourbridge for the annual classic running of the Stourbridge Stumble 10k, starting and finishing at the bandstand in Mary Stevens Park. The route follows an out and back pan handle course to the south west of Stourbridge offering fine scenery, varied off-road trails and a friendly atmosphere which includes the infamous ‘Slop Gully’ and ‘Dinosaur Beach’.
Ben Toon led the Joggers home in a time of 45:55 followed by Megan Judge (46:38) who received a trophy for being 3rd lady. Congratulations also to Julie Caseley who was 1st female vet 50 (54:05) and also to Debbie Parker who was 1st female vet 40 (55:06). Other Joggers competing included Trevor Matty (48:05), Ian Walwyn (49:35), John Bryan (51:57), Mark Cooling (53:44), Alison Priest (54:27), Steve Roode (55:39), Julia Heron (59:14), Emily Seyler (1:03:45) and Vivien Tolley (1:06:59).
