Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport, Exercise and Osteoarthritis – Research

To whom it may concern,

My name is Richard Leech, I am a PhD student with Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport, Exercise and Osteoarthritis at the University of Nottingham. I have attached details of our ongoing study exploring the effects of recreational running on health outcomes, particularly relating to the knee joint and osteoarthritis. If you could disseminate this information to your club members, for example via your club website, social media and/or email, I would be extremely grateful. Full details of the research are available at the start of the questionnaire.

The Health of Adults Longitudinal Observational Study

I am currently in Australia organising international recruitment, but please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information. Alternatively, you can contact the Chief Investigator, Dr Kim Edwards, on kimberley.edwards@nottingham.ac.uk. She will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Joanne Bartram (centre-seoa@nottingham.ac.uk) is also assisting with the research whilst I am abroad.

Many thanks for your help with our research.

Yours sincerely,

Richard
