Seven Malvern Joggers went to Credenhill for the 6.3 mile Canter which started at 3pm from Credenhill Sports and Social Club. This was a lovely, friendly multi-terrain race which covered quiet country lanes, trails and woodland paths. The first half of the race was fairly flat but after 5km, runners entered Credenhill Woods which involved climbing some challenging hills and negotiating technical descents. The finish was at Credenhill Church followed by the prize presentation back at the Sports and Social Club. Money raised from this event was donated to the Hereford Special Care Baby Unit.
First Malvern Jogger home was Megan Judge in a time of 55:23, winning a trophy for 1st Female Under 30 followed by Ian Walwyn (58:14 – winning a silver medal for 2nd Male Under 70), Paul Webb (59:05), Steve Roode (59:30), Julie Caseley (1:01:17 – winning a trophy for 1st Female Under 60), Alison Priest (1:01:59 – winning a silver medal for 2nd Female Under 60) and Mark Dillon (1:14:31).
