This very popular chip timed 8.8 mile race saw 276 runners tackle this challenging course in ideal conditions. The multi-terrain race started at Burghill CP School and was run through orchards, woodland trails and country lanes as well as encountering styles, kissing gates and wonderful scenery. The course was particularly dry this year but runners still had to encounter the challenging 105 step woodland climb up the ‘crocodile’s back’ at about 4 miles.
