Voted into the top 10 off-road races by readers of Runners World, the Croome Capability Canter is a 6.5 mile (10kish) multi-terrain race around the scenic Croome Park; designed by renowned 18th century landscape architect Lancelot “Capability” Brown. This year’s race will be on Sunday, 27th November 2016 at 9:30am.
Last year, we watched as all 350 places sold out in just 58 minutes, so again this year we are sending out advanced notice of when entries open, so you can set your alarms!
Set a reminder
Entries will open Monday 3rd October at 9pm and will be online only (no postal or on the day entries). Places are strictly limited to 350 to protect the parkland, so we recommend booking quickly to avoid missing out.
The online entry system has been set up this year as a ‘hot ticket’ system, so that you can reserve up to 4 places and not worry about finding all places have sold out by the time you reach the end of the checkout. You have ten minutes per entry to finish entering the details and pay, so ensure you have all the details ready (contact details, UK Athletics numbers if affiliated, etc). This is a similar system to many popular concert ticket websites.

We are always grateful for marshals on the day. If you would like to volunteer (lunch and cake provided!), please email myself or club secretary and race director Claire Shacklock (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All the best,
