Croome Capability Canter – 29 November 2015

On a cool, very blustery November day, an excellent turnout of 27 Malvern Joggers braved the elements to take part in the 6th Croome Capability Canter organised by Black Pear Joggers.   The 300 online entries filled up within an hour of opening and the 100 on the waiting shortly afterwards.  253 runners tackled the 6.5 mile muddy course around the lovely Croome country park culminating in an uphill finish outside the Church.  Competitors were rewarded with a medal and goody bag as well as a free coffee provided by the cafe.

Malvern Joggers were led home by Jon Newey in 2nd place overall in a time of 42:44, followed by Sam Burnage (45:15), Neil Watts (48:14), Andy Dingley (48:37), Ben Toon (49:24), Matthew Lancett (51:25), Paul Newman (52:36), Alex Innocent (53:41), John Bryan (53:54), Ian Walwyn (54:14 – 1st MV60), Mark Cooling (54:27), Bert Lacey (55:14), Steve Roode (56:23), Emily Priest (56:44), Debbie Parker (57:11), Julie Caseley (57:41 – 1st FV55), Alison Priest (57:58), Mike Spragg (58:06), Ewelina Skolimowska (58:56), Lucy Gallagher (59:29), Suzie Lane (59:41), David Brett (1:03:44), Julia Heron (1:04:07), Derek Goodman (1:05:56), Pippa Denman (1:09:54), Charly Lowndes (1:10:28), Emily Seyler (1:11:58) and Shona Toon (1:11:59).
