Crowle 10k – 8 May 2016

482 runners braved the hottest day of the year so far to take part in
the Crowle Gunpowder Plot 10k. Malvern Joggers were represented by an
excellent turnout of 32 runners together with several Malvern Jogger
Juniors taking part in the children’s fun runs. This was a village
event that supports the local community which was expected to raise
£7000 for the Crowle Parish Hall and Recreation Trust.

The course began with a lap of the Crowle Parish Hall field then headed
out onto closed country roads taking runners through Sale Green before
returning back uphill for a lap of the playing field before finishing in
front of an enthusiastic crowd.

First Malvern Jogger home was Neil Watts in a fantastic time of 43:09,
followed by Stuart Day (43:47), Andrew Staniforth (44:45), Megan Judge
(45:13), Julian Satchell (46:15), BenToon (46:24), Mark Walker (46:56),
Jerry Greer (48:23), Ian Walwyn (48:43), Deborah Parker (49:01) and
receiving a trophy for 2nd Female Vet 35, John Bryan (50:33), Ian Dyson
(50:55), Alison Priest (51:15), Suzie Lane (51:26) and receiving a
trophy for 3rd Female Vet 45, Julie Caseley (51:42), Paul Webb (52:02),
Steve Ollis (52:23), Lucy Gallagher (53:15), Mark Dillon (53:30), Andrew
Gallagher (53:53), Glyn Davies (54:05), Sue Dillon (54:54), Amanda
Duncan (56:40), Julia Heron (56:43), Steve Roode, (56:44), Pat Johnson
(1:02:09), Paula Smy (1:02:14), Charly Lowndes (1:03:02), Shona Toon
(1:05:01), Jenny Davies (1:06:43) and Vivien Tolley and Laura Williams
