This was the 10th anniversary of the Evesham Vale 10k organised by Evesham Vale Running Club and money raised was being donated to Evesham and District Mental Heath Support Services.
The course was relatively fast and flat and the race was chip timed, run on a variety of surfaces starting and finishing on grass on Crown Meadow. The course ran through the centre of historic Evesham and alongside the beautiful River Avon. The surface was generally tarmac roads and paths, some grit paths and short sections on grass.
