Six Malvern Joggers travelled the short distance to Worcester for the 20th Worcester Pitchcroft 10k. This was a fast, flat, three lap course run on traffic free perimeter surfaced tracks and footpaths. The start was at the far end of the paddock close to the finish which was in front of the Grandstand.
There was a unique commemorative medal to all finishers and a drinks bottle.
Congratulations to Julie Caseley (49:21) who was 1st Female Vet 55 and to Lucy Gallagher (53:22) who was 2nd Female Vet 45 – both competitors received an engraved silver salver and a bottle of wine. Other Malvern Joggers running were Stuart Day (42:40), Julia Heron (53:41), Steve Ollis (54:41) and Kevin Minton (1:06:17).
Linus Burnage (11:53) was 8th in the Worcester Pitchcroft 2.75km Fun Run, the proceeds of which were donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice
