This was the 21st anniversary of the Worcester Pitchcroft 10k and incorporated the Worcestershire County 10k Road Championships. It is a fast, flat, three lap course run on traffic free perimeter surfaced tracks and footpaths. The start was at the end of the paddock close to the finish which was in front of the Grandstand.
Megan Judge received a silver salver for being 4th lady in a time of (43:18) as well as a bronze medal in the County Championship for 3rd senior female. Julie Caseley (FV50) won a gold medal in the County Championship in a time of 49:52 and Charly Lowndes (MV60) won a bronze medal in the County Championship in a time of 59:10. Malvern Joggers men won the bronze medal team prize in the County Championship with Stuart Day (41:19), Steve Ollis (49:56) and Steve Roode (51:12).
10 Malvern Joggers took part and the first to finish was Stuart Day in a time of 41:19 followed by Megan Judge (43:18), John Bryan (47:24), Julie Caseley (49:52), Steve Ollis (49:56), Steve Roode (51:12), Mark Dillon (51:49), Chris Jolley (52:41), Sue Dillon (53:19) and Charly Lowndes (59:10).
