Four Malvern Joggers travelled the 30 miles or so to Tintern in Wales for this fantastic off road 6 mile race. There were many local clubs represented, making up the 277 finishers.
The course started and finished at the Tintern end of the old railway bridge next to the Abbey Mill. The race crossed the bridge and followed the River Wye for about a mile along the course of the old railway line. It then climbed up through the woods to reach Offa’s Dyke path, going north along the path for a mile or so. The route then went past the horse sanctuary and turned left back along the lane to rejoin the outward route and back to the finish at the Abbey Mill.
The Joggers were led home by Andrew Milton in a time of 49:22, followed by Julie Caseley (57:34), Mike Anstey (1:01:17) and Lynda Broadway (1:08:35). Julie
